This sequence required a hero character that has impact and obvious physical dynamism.
Enter, Jack. This guy was fun to work on.
Starting from provided concepts, I dug deep into my Power Rangers reference bag and this was the result.
The 3D character was integrated
into the parallaxed 2D backdrops.
2D embellishment FX were then applied
to further enhance this integration.
Blender and Substance painter
were used to create Jack.
Eevee renderer and Blenders
"freestyle" toon stroke gave
the final flourishes.
